SBU35 – St Begas Ultra Trail Race 26/08/2017
EDZ are pleased be supporting the annual  SBU35 – St Begas Ultra Trail Race and will be supplying every runner with a pair of our EDZ merino wool running / trainer socks (should be a good test!) as well as spot prizes and a £100 prize for the 1st finishers in the men’s and women’s categories.
The race starts at St Bega’s Church on the Eastern shore of Bassenthwaite lake, heading to along Derwentwater, Borrowdale, Honister pass, Ennerdale valley and then on to St Bees for the finish after about 36 miles plus much ascending.
There are 170 entries and  the runners have 12 hours to complete the course, the record is 5 hours 12 minutes!
