Ukantrail SBU35 2016

 

EDZ were pleased to team up with Ukantrail again to sponsor this years SBU35 Ultramarathon.

The race took place on 27th August and had the competitors tackle a 36 mile course, starting at St Begas church at Bassenthwaite and ending at St Bees on the West coast of Cumbria.

The event was a great success as always.  There were some great results on the day with the Fastest Man being Alan Bowness with a time of 5:24:40 and the Fastest woman being Joanne Pemberton with a time of 7:03:23.  Congratulations to Alan and Joanne and indeed all of the other runners who managed to complete the course.

We look forward to supporting SBU35 again in 2017.
