These start life oversized and are then shrunk to size which causes the fibres to felt and the material to become denser improving wind resistance and insulation properties. Boiled wool gloves & mittens were traditionally used by skiers and mountaineers before modern gloves came along. Sometimes old tech is better than modern tech..

About the FitTraditional knitted gloves are an approximate hand shape, these follow the anatomical shape of the hand giving a much better fit. Due to the way these are made there may slight variations in the finished size of diffrent production batches.

• The little finger is lower than the ring finger
• The thumb is correctly positioned inside the palm
• The width of the glove is the same above and below the palm.
